Two Students Face Charges After Threat Against Edinburg North HS

Two students have been charged after a threat that caused a lockdown at Edinburg North High School earlier this week. Police say an unidentified juvenile who attends IDEA Tres Lagos in McAllen made the original threat on social media.

Edinburg North student Jared Jerome Juarez reportedly shared the threat, prompting parents to call the school to share their concerns. Officials say anyone who shares a threat without contacting law enforcement must share accountability for the crime.
