Drivers across Texas will see more traffic enforcement on the streets this week. The Texas Department of Public Safety said it would increase patrols during spring break and St. Patrick’s Day.

The traffic enforcement campaign runs March 9th through the 17th. Texas Highway Patrol Chief Bryan Rippee says “troopers will be highly visible across the state, focused on preventing impaired driving, speeding and other dangerous behaviors that put lives at risk.”
