The Texas Department of Public Safety is giving more details about a deadly weekend motorcycle crash near Alton.
Investigators say 19-year-old Giovanni Rios of Mission lost control of the motorcycle while traveling north on Trinidad Lane around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The motorcycle hit a curb, throwing Rios from the motorcycle and causing him to hit a light pole. Investigators say Rios was traveling at an unsafe speed before the crash.
