The Texas Senate has passed a voting bill that critics say will make it harder for people of color to vote. The Republican-led chamber voted along party lines Tuesday to approve a bill they say prevents voter fraud, which includes new limits on early voting and on drive-thru voting.

On Monday, dozens of Democratic lawmakers left Texas to keep the bill from passing in the House. Republican Governor Gregg Abbott said the Democrats will be arrested as soon as they come back.
