President Trump says Iran should surrender as the 60-day negotiation period between the countries ends. Trump told Fox News this morning Iran “should raise the white flag of surrender,” as the deal aimed to put a pause on fighting as well as reopen the Strait of Hormuz expired.
Trump went on to say he has no schedule and he’s “not in a hurry” to end the Iran war, as reports indicate the U.S. will wait it out using a naval blockade to prevent the flow of Iranian oil and increase economic sanctions.
Trump warned the U.S. will heavily bomb Oman if it “gets in the way” of the U.S. reopening the Strait. Traffic through the strait remains well below pre-war levels.
