Unofficial Results For The Saturday May 3rd Election

Winner for City of McAllen District 1, Tony Aguirre the incumbent. District 3, McAllen will have a new commissioner, Rolando Rios.

Early results had indicated Hidalgo County voters saying no to a tax increase for emergency service districts number 1,2,3 but said yes to the creation of a new emergency service district in 5 and 6.

McAllen school board, Robert Carreon winner for place 3, Roberto Haddad with the votes to win place 7.

Early results from Cameron County, again showing voters saying no to a special events venue.

Commissioner At Large B Brownsville likely headed to a runoff, with the top two vote getting candidates being Nurith Galonsky Pizana and Roy De Los Santos.

Early vote District 3 Commission Brownsville has Gustavo De Leon likely taking the seat.

Brownsville Commission District 4 likely to be another runoff with Pedro Cardenas getting the most votes early on, in a four-person race.

And there will be a new city in Texas, of those eligible to vote in the area ,98 percent said yes to create a new city called Star Base. They also elected a mayor and two commissioners.
