A Utah man is pleading not guilty to federal charges linked to a crude oil terminal in South Texas. Twenty-five-year-old Maxwell Sterling Jensen was given a 750-thousand-dollar bond during a hearing in McAllen on Friday.
Jensen and three other members of his family are accused of buying stolen crude oil and having it delivered to a terminal facility in Rio Hondo. The scheme allegedly laundered millions of dollars for Mexican drug cartels. A pretrial hearing in the case is set for June.
