Voter Registration Suit

A group in Texas that signs up new voters is firing back at claims that they’re registering illegal immigrants.

Lawyers for the Jolt Initiative are suing Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is trying to revoke their charter. It claims that the AG is using “baseless conspiracy theories” in an effort to “silence Latino voters.”
