VTOL Firm Chooses Brownsville For New Manufacturing Operation


A new aerospace company is planning to build a manufacturing facility in Brownsville. City officials welcomed Paragon VTOL to the Rio Grande Valley during an event yesterday at Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport.

The company specializes in vertical take-off and landing vehicles and has plans to test small delivery drones in the city later this year. Paragon plans to move into the area of heavy cargo delivery, in hopes of eventually developing a passenger vehicle that could carry up to five people.
