A fugitive wanted for active warrants in two Texas counties has been captured in South Texas.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says 45-year-old Eliud Perez Reyes was arrested Monday during a traffic stop in Palmview. Reyes is wanted on multiple charges in Hidalgo County, including aggravated assault and sexual assault. He’s also wanted in Fayette County for property theft.
A charge of failure to identify as a fugitive from justice was added to that list following his arrest.
