WH COVID Team Pressed On Possible Changes To Mask Recommendations

The White House coronavirus response team is being pressed on possible changes to mask wearing recommendations.  CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said mask guidance hasn’t changed.  Dr. Walensky reiterated that unvaccinated people should continue masking up.  However, she added communities have to take into account what’s happening in their area.  This comes as Los Angeles County recently reinstated a mask policy for indoor public settings.
