Willacy County Implements Burn Ban

Another county is implementing a burn ban due to the ongoing fire danger in the Rio Grande Valley. Willacy County announced a 90-day ban on outdoor burning Thursday.

Exceptions to the ban include outdoor cooking, prescribed burns and a few other activities. Cameron County implemented a burn ban earlier this week.
