A woman is in custody after a deadly shooting in rural Mission. The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the 42-hundred block of J & A Drive early yesterday morning. They found 43-year-old Gerardo Trevino dead at the scene.
Witnesses said an adult woman left the scene following the shooting, and she was found and detained a short time later. Formal charges against the unidentified woman are expected later Tuesday.
