A woman has been charged with manslaughter following a weekend shooting in Donna. Deputies were called to a residence on Hermosa Vida Drive on Sunday afternoon and found 20-year-old Damian Bazan dead inside a vehicle on the property.
Twenty-one-year-old Miriam Valdez reportedly admitted to shooting Bazan, telling investigators that she thought the gun was unloaded. Valdez was given a one-million-dollar bond during a court hearing Monday.
