A woman accused of killing an elderly McAllen man in 2022 has been found not guilty. Forty-four-year-old Adriana Aleman was charged with murder for the death of 71-year-old Homero Arturo Longoria. A

leman said she acted in self-defense when Longoria tried to sexually assault her, while prosecutors said she went too far when she choked him to death. The jury deliberated for about three and a half hours before announcing the not guilty verdict.
