A huge cloud of Saharan dust is on its way across the Atlantic Ocean to Texas. Trade winds are expected to push the dust cloud toward the Texas Gulf Coast by Sunday afternoon and evening.

Residents can expect a slight decrease in air quality, accompanied by vivid sunsets. Hazy skies are in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday in Houston, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Austin. Some of the dust may also reach the DFW area in North Texas.
