Drivers can expect some record crowds on the highways this Fourth of July weekend. Triple-A Texas says a record five-point-seven million Texans will be traveling. That’s nearly 370-thousand more than last year and over half a million more than before the pandemic in 2019.
Spokesman Doug Shupe says gas prices are about 20 cents cheaper this year than last, saving driver about four-bucks per fill up.
