Both Texas senators are touting their contributions to the One Big Beautiful Bill. GOP Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz both voted for the legislation.

Cornyn pushed for the federal government to reimburse Texas and other states for the billions they spent on border security under the Biden administration. He also included a provision to ask NASA to move Space Shuttle Discovery from Virginia to Houston. Cruz secured an annual individual tax credit related to school choice programs.
