Man Sentenced To 60 Years For McAllen Machete Murder

A Honduran man has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for killing a man in McAllen. Twenty-seven-year-old Hector Reyes Mendoza was sentenced Monday after being convicted of murder.

Investigators say Mendoza used a machete to kill Jose Sorto Molina in June of last year. The two men reportedly argued over the machete before the victim was killed.
