By U.S. Customs and Border Protection has seized thousands of counterfeit Texas registration stickers in Brownsville. Officers at the Veterans International Bridge found the stickers during a secondary inspection on Saturday.
Boxes containing 12 thousand suspected counterfeit stickers were seized along with 12 canisters of freon. The driver of the vehicle carrying the items was arrested and turned over to officers from the Brownsville Police Department.
