President Trump says nuclear submarines are “in the region” of Russia. Trump made the comments Sunday, just two days after saying the U.S. was positioning two nuclear submarines close to Russia.
The decision was made to place them in what were described as “appropriate regions” after “highly provocative statements” from former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
Trump on Thursday had issued a warning to Medvedev after he criticized the president’s foreign policy to “watch his words.”
