A federal judge in San Antonio heard arguments in a lawsuit over Texas’s new Ten Commandments law. Jonathan Saenz with the group Texas Values says there is plenty of legal precedent as to why the Bible verse can be hung in public school classrooms.
The law is being challenged by the ACLU, which argues that it violates the separation of church and state. It goes into effect next month but posters of the Ten Commandments are already being posted in several Texas school districts.
