Parents Arrested After Two-Year-Old Found Alone

Two parents are facing charges after a toddler was found roaming alone in a diaper in south Bexar County.

Sheriff’s officials say the two-year-old child was found running near a busy road with a diaper filled with feces. Deputies ended up following the child into a home that they described as having horrific living conditions.

The child’s mother, Alexandra Prewett, and Benito Lopez were both arrested on charges of child endangerment.
