Resolution To Extend DC Takeover Introduced In Congress

A resolution has been introduced in Congress that would extend the federal takeover of Washington, DC.

Florida Republican Anna Paulina Luna is sponsoring a measure that would keep state and federal troops patrolling the streets of the capital indefinitely.

Luna released a statement Tuesday saying President Trump should have the authority to exert federal control over Washington for as long as he thinks it’s necessary.
