By An influential conservative group has some harsh words for Texas Congressman Wesley Hunt. He’s been spending millions on campaign ads that hint at a possible run for Senate.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee shot him a letter, basically telling him to stand down. A memo, sent out this week, called the fledgling campaign a “vanity project.” They asked Hunt to throw his support behind the incumbent, Senator John Cornyn.
