By Governor Greg Abbott says Wednesday’s attack on an ICE facility in Dallas will not slow the state’s participation in deporting illegal immigrants.
A shooter identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn opened fire on the ICE facility, killing one detainee and critically wounding two others. Jahn then reportedly shot and killed himself.
Republican Senator Ted Cruz said, “Politically motivated violence is wrong” and “needs to stop.” Secretary of State Kristi Noem said ICE officers are facing “unprecedented violence” lately.
