A three decade old cold case that’s haunted Texas investigators has been solved. The murder of four teenagers at a frozen yogurt shop in Austin is now being linked to a serial killer. Detective Dan Jackson says the breakthrough came thanks to new DNA testing technology.

A tiny speck of blood found under the fingernail of one of the victims matched Robert Eugene Brashers. He’s linked to at least three other murders in South Carolina and Missouri.
