An alleged illegal immigrant, who happens to be a popular streamer, and a federal marshal were both shot during an incident in South Los Angeles Tuesday.
Officials say an ICE officer shot the immigrant while he was attempting to flee immigration agents. Carlitos Ricardo Parias, who goes by Richard LA, has been charged with assault on a federal officer, with authorities claiming he tried to ram into the immigration agents with his car.
One of the bullets fired by the ICE agent also struck a U.S. marshal assisting in the arrest. Neither Parias nor the marshal suffered life-threatening injuries.
