TxDOT To Hold Public Meeting To Discuss New SPI Causeway

The Texas Department of Transportation is exploring the idea of building a new causeway to South Padre Island. The agency has begun an environmental study to research a possible path for a second causeway that would connect to the island. TxDOT will host a workshop and information session at the South Padre Island Convention Center on November 6th. More information about the project is available on the TxDOT website.
