By Investigators will not be pursuing charges in an alleged weekend assault near the campus of the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. Officers were called to the 800 block of West University Drive early Sunday morning.
A woman claimed that her boyfriend held a machete while threatening to kill her. Edinburg officials announced yesterday that police completed their investigation into the case and found no grounds to file charges.
