Spaceport Sues Paxton Over Order To Release Info

The city of Starbase is suing Attorney General Ken Paxton over his ruling that it must release public information requested by a South Texas TV station. The lawsuit claims Paxton wrongly ordered the release of information the city prefers to keep private. Many of the city’s residents and elected officials work for SpaceX. The information sought by the TV station is ordinarily considered public record under state law. But SpaceX lawyers say the release of certain emails would unsafely reveal technical details about critical infrastructure.
