Four Houston firefighters were injured and three are still in the hospital after a weekend accident involving an 18-wheeler in Kingwood.
Officials responded around 1:40 a.m. Sunday to the crash site on the Eastex Freeway at Northpark Drive. Houston Fire Station 68 says Engine 104 was blocking traffic at the scene of a previous accident when the 18-wheeler ran into the fire truck.
The four firefighters and the trucker were hospitalized. One of the firefighters was treated and released. The other three are in stable condition at HCA Kingwood.
