Three more failing Texas school districts have been taken over by the state. State Representative Briscoe Cain says this is yet another example of why private school vouchers are critical. He says that, when local control consistently falls short, the state should step in.
The districts now under control of the Texas Education Agency are in Connally, Lake Worth and Beaumont.
