President Trump says he has sometimes gone against the advice of his doctors and instead relies on his “good genetics.” He spoke on his health in an interview with the Wall Street Journal published Thursday.
Trump said he takes more aspirin than his doctors recommend because he’s been taking it for 25 years, adding, “I’m a little superstitious.” The Journal said friends, aides and donors claim Trump strains to hear, something Trump denied.
The president also noted that he didn’t get a MRI in October as he often said for weeks, but rather a CT scan. Trump’s doctor said it was done “to definitively rule out any cardiovascular issues.”
