A golf-themed sports bar and restaurant is closing its Houston location in the Sawyer Yards area, partly because of crime in the neighborhood. Loft18 on Edwards Street near Sawyer Street is closed as of New Year’s Day.
The company operates four locations in Louisiana and says it still plans to bring a family-friendly sports bar to the Houston area. Company officials say Katy, The Woodlands, and Sugar Land are being looked at as candidates for a new location.
