A day care worker who pleaded not guilty to causing the death of a four-year-old boy will go on trial next month. Sandy Ruiz was arrested last year following the death of Logan Urbina. Urbina died after being left in a van for nearly five hours after a field trip.

Ruiz was reportedly responsible for the children in the van. She pleaded not guilty to a charge of injury to a child, elderly or disabled individual. Her trial will begin on February 23rd.
