Authorities are looking at new leads in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. The 84-year-old mother of “Today” host Savannah Guthrie went missing Sunday after officials said she was abducted from her Tucson home. Arizona police are investigating the authenticity of an alleged ransom note demanding payment for her release.

The Pima County Sheriff says they are pursuing multiple leads but could not provide details. Savannah Guthrie, meanwhile, has pulled out of her coverage of the Winter Olympics. NBC released a statement saying Guthrie will instead focus on “being with her family during this difficult time.”
