Several South Texas hospitals have received top ratings in a first-ever list by Forbes. The publication evaluated over five-thousand hospitals across the U.S. in categories including outcomes, best practices, value and patient experiences.
Harlingen Medical Center, Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen and South Texas Health System in Edinburg all made the top rank, receiving five stars. Mission Regional Medical Center and Valley Baptist in Harlingen came in a little lower, receiving four stars.
