An elderly man has died after a rollover crash near Palmview. The Texas Department of Public Safety says 75-year-old Ascencion Lopez Hernandez of Mission died Thursday morning.
Investigators say Hernandez lost control of his vehicle after passing another car on Bentsen Palm Road north of San Lucas Street. His Chevrolet hit a ditch and rolled over, killing Hernandez. A male passenger was also injured in the crash, which is under investigation.
