By The Brownsville Police Department is warning residents about some loud noises that will be happening this week.
The police department says migratory birds have been gathering on the premises, causing health and sanitation concerns. The department plans to broadcast sounds to scare away the birds, including some noises that may sound like cannon fire.
The simulations will happen between 6 and 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
