Democratic turnout for tomorrow’s statewide primary has been very strong in the Rio Grande Valley.

Early voting ended Friday, and nearly 50-thousand Democrats turned in ballots in Hidalgo County. That compares to just over 13-thousand Republicans who voted early in the county.

Over 22-thousand Democrats voted early in Cameron County, while just over 85-hundred Republicans turned in ballots. Polls will be open around the state from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow.
