Rio Grande Valley residents have gotten a rare chance to see the Texas Supreme Court in action. The court held a field hearing at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg Thursday.
The court heard arguments in a case involving the closures of Boca Chica Beach during SpaceX launches. They also heard a case where the City of McAllen is challenging state limits on public right-of-way charges. The court will now consider the arguments before issuing any rulings.
