Governor Abbott is giving a group of South Texas seniors a gift ahead of their graduation from high school. The governor joined representatives of AT&T and the Los Fresnos school district in honoring 150 graduating seniors yesterday.
The governor handed out laptops to the seniors, telling them that they represent the type of excellence that students can achieve in the state of Texas.
The governor’s office said the 150 laptops given away are symbolic for AT&T as the company celebrates the 150th anniversary of the first telephone call.
