As the war in Iran nears the one-month mark, President Trump is insisting the U.S. has had good discussions with Iran, although Iran denies that’s the case.
Speaking during a visit to Memphis on Monday, Trump again said he’s putting strikes against Iranian power plants on hold, to see if a broader agreement can be reached. He said he’ll give the talks five days.
The President said the success of “Operation Epic Fury” has brought Iran to the bargaining table, and they “want peace.” Trump said Iran’s navy, air force, and potential nuclear capabilities have been eliminated.
