Edinburg police are announcing seven arrests after a child sex sting operation last week.
The department says seven men were taken into custody after they arranged a meeting for sex with who they thought was a 16-year-old girl, but was actually an undercover officer. They face several charges.
The arrests were part of Operation Wildcat, a joint law enforcement initiative that targets online predators across the Rio Grande Valley.
