Iran says it won’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz for a temporary ceasefire. An Iranian official said today that Iran is reviewing a plan for a ceasefire sent over by Pakistani mediators before President Trump’s Tuesday deadline when he’s promised to destroy key Iranian energy infrastructure.

The official said Iran doesn’t believe the U.S. is ready for a permanent ceasefire and won’t be pressured into accepting deadlines.
