A New York man and his teenage son are facing charges after dangerous chemicals were found at their Long Island home.
A police bomb squad was called to the house in Syosset yesterday and destroyed the chemicals on site, saying they were too dangerous to transport because they were made to be explosives.
Police first visited the house after the 15-year-old son allegedly drew a swastika in a high school bathroom. His father is facing numerous charges after allegedly buying the chemicals. Both suspects have separate court appearances today.
