Families across Texas who applied for a private school voucher are getting word this week that they were selected.
Travis Pillow with the comptroller’s office says these are families who met the requirements to be at the front of the line. They’re low income or have a disability. There will now be a lottery for others.
Vouchers allow families to pull their kids from public school and use their tax dollars to send them to a private school
