The mother of two toddlers who were found dead in a backyard pool in the Katy area earlier this year faces charges related to their deaths.
Harris County deputies responded in February to a reported drowning at a home on Creek Edge Court. Laura Nicholson was asleep in the house at the time the girls died.
In late April, autopsies found cocaine in the blood of the two girls, who were two and three years old. Nicholson was arrested on Monday in Florida and is charged with two counts of injury to a child.
