An Oklahoma man is facing charges after being arrested at a South Texas Border Patrol checkpoint last weekend.
Investigators say Juan Nasario-Reyes drove a tractor-trailer into the Sarita checkpoint on Saturday night. An inspection found four people hiding inside the truck’s cab and another 38 hiding in the trailer.
Investigators say the people found were from countries like Mexico, El Salvador and Honduras and were in the U.S. illegally. The suspect was also charged with drug possession after meth was found during the search.
